WEBSITE: Dog Training Zone

The Dog Training Zone course is an in-depth manual for new dog owners, with the credo “training your best friend quickly, easily, and having fun along the way”. The course is designed and written by authority dog author Charlie Lafave, who is also renowned as a producer and director of several wildlife documentaries and shows for USA Network and Outdoor Life Network.
The Dog Training Zone manual is obviously written by the hand of experience, and the authority and simplicity by which it is written, makes it easy for a novice owner to understand. Charlie Lafave utilizes a simple step-by-step approach to reinject enjoyment back into dog training, particularly when walking on a leash, or obeying basic commands. The author obviously has a much broader knowledge base of canine behavioral understanding than most, yet his lessons and training are very easy to follow, and equally as easy to apply in your situation.
WHAT’S INSIDE:
The Dog Training Zone manual covers the complete range of steps required by dog owners to successfully understand and implement professional training that would normally be out of the reach of the average dog owner. The author begins by giving you a scientific understanding of how your dog’s mind works, utilizing this knowledge to discover the secret in having your dog heel on command.

Quite a high emphasis is placed upon house training your dog in less than one week, as well as specific toys which are appropriate for your dog breed. An in-depth coverage of “what is” and “how to do” in respect to crate training, will get your puppy or your adult dog on track quickly. There is also a specific section dedicated to the house training of puppies.
Getting into some of more of the advanced topics, the author clearly details and illustrates all of the six basic dog commands: come, sit, lie down, stay, heel, and fetch. This is part and parcel of the well laid out obedience training section, and why it benefits everyone. Additionally, Lafave shows you how to read the body language of your dog, tying that into the five different stages to expect in your puppy training development schedule. There are many more areas of which Lafave covers with great authority and obvious first-hand knowledge.
As with all dog training courses, Charlie Lafave’s Dog Training Zone comes with five bonus products included to entice you. While this is normally a gimmick to trick you into perceiving that you’re getting more value than you are paying, these five bonuses are actually worth the price they are claimed to be worth. Covering topics such as what to feed and not to feed your dog, mind teasers, weather tips, clicker training, as well as other electronic device training, these bonuses really do add value and complement the Dog Training Zone course.
I was personally impressed with the excellence of quality information and how easy it was to follow. From cover to cover, you have a manual that would suit any novice dog owner. I would still recommend the Secrets to Dog Training over this course simply because it covers all areas for both novice and advanced level owners, whereas I found Dog Training Zone to be excellently suited for novice owners only. I did find Dog Training Zone more lighthearted and fun orientated. I would highly recommend any novice dog owner to pick up this bargain, as the $39.97 price tag is much much cheaper than even one hours training, from a dog handler or dog trainer. Not perfect, but still good enough for me to give it a 9/10.
